We Make Repairs and Corrections to:
Hearth extensions and wall faces. Includes repairs to cracks in the hearth and doors as well as screen damage, water intrusion, etc.
Fireboxes. Repair or replacement of fireboxes due to corrosion, the blower not working, unsealed or improper gas line installations, etc.
Refractory panels. Includes repairs to refractory panel cracking or deterioration, missing panels, and improper installation.
Doors and screens. Includes repairs for corrosion, damage that makes them inoperable, missing gaskets, etc.
Dampers. Includes repairs to corrosion, warping, difficulties opening, or any other problem that causes the damper to work improperly.
Log grates. We identify whether a log grate is an approved after-market product and if the grate is warped or missing altogether. If so, we will recommend a complete log grate replacement
Flue systems. Includes common issues, such as glazed creosote, warping, evidence of water intrusion, etc.
Attics. We identify missing fire stops, improper clearance to combustibles around the flue pipe, missing insulation shields, etc.
Roof or chase construction. Includes repairs to a damaged chase, a missing cricket, damaged chimney caps, and any other problems identified. We recommend repair or replacement as needed.
